A: All our designs except Gloria can have a hole drilled.

Q: How long will I have to wait for delivery after ordering?
A: Our furniture is handmade to order. Generally, the delivery time is between four and six weeks, depending on the number of orders we have at the time. Please contact us for the expected delivery date.

Q: Who designs Acorn products?
A: Our team of master craftsmen designs The Solid Oak and Classic Design Collections.

Q: Do you manufacture to a specified design?
A: Acorn offers a wide selection of oak furniture sizes. But, we can also make furniture to any size a customer requires. We can also discuss bespoke furniture design for larger orders.

Q: What's so special about the way Acorn makes its furniture?
A: Solid Oak Collection is handmade, so every item is unique. Although it might look alike, no two items are ever the same. We use an kiln dried oak that is stronger and more resistant to climate changes. Fine craft techniques such as dovetail joints, mortise and tenon joints are employed when creating each piece. Stainless steel wood screws and bolts are occasionally used to firm the structure, but are cleverly hidden by oak caps to maintain the aesthetics.

Q: Can my furniture be kept outside all year round?
A: Yes, our furniture is made to be kept outdoors in all seasons. Please see Care & Maintenance for more information.

Q: Where does your oak come from?
A: We source oak from Lithuanian forests that are strictly regulated by local government authorities. Lithuania’s state forests are FSC certified. Please see The Environment for our environmental policy.
